Folha reported on June 26, 2019 that Moro returned to Brazil alone, late in the morning of June 26, before fulfilling the commitments that included a visit to an FBI office in Virginia; according to the ministry, the schedule would be carried out by the rest of the delegation (Valeixo, Hott Júnior and Igor de Paula). The schedule on the website showed meetings of Moro in Brasília. The department's press office apologized for the episode, which it called a 'mix-up,' since the schedule released on Tuesday indicated that the minister would fulfill the commitments. Folha also noted that the first text about the mission, published on the ministry's website, was edited to remove the cities of the agencies in Virginia.
