Actions to revoke Moro's mandate before the Paraná Regional Electoral Court (TRE-PR) and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) (2024)
The PL and the PT/PCdoB/PV federation accused Moro of abuse of economic power, undeclared campaign funds (caixa 2), and improper use of the media during the 2021–2022 presidential pre-campaign, before his Senate candidacy. The Paraná Regional Electoral Court (TRE-PR) rejected the claims by 5 to 2 on April 9, 2024; the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) denied the appeals unanimously on May 21, 2024. The sanctions sought were electoral (revocation of mandate and ineligibility).
