Limitations: A vote, not the final ruling. The majority of the Second Panel did not necessarily adopt all of the grounds; Cármen Lúcia said she was not relying on the messages (Poder360).

According to Gilmar Mendes's vote, on February 9, 2021 the STF Second Panel confirmed a decision by Ricardo Lewandowski that gave Lula's defense access to the Operation Spoofing dialogues (Rcl 43.007), without deciding on their use as evidence in criminal cases.
